BILL HOFFMAN

Lion Bill joined the Annandale Lions Club on May 16, 1968 and served the greater Annandale community as an active member for over 40 years.  He was our President from July 1, 1977 through June 30, 1978.

A Melvin Jones Fellowship was endowed in his name at Lions Clubs International Foundation.  The Melvin Jones Fellowship is named after the founder of Lions Clubs, and is the highest honor bestowed by a Lions Club.

In recent years, he was active in our highway cleanup project (Adopt a Highway for Backlick Road in Annandale), and he started the cherished tradition of meeting at the Sunset Grille to talk about the event (most unusual items found along the road) over lunch and beverages.
