LION BILL SHATTUCK
Lion Bill transferred his membership to the Annandale Lions Club
on April 1, 1983 and served the greater Annandale community as an
active member for almost 30 years. He was our President from July 1, 1988
through June 30, 1989.
A Melvin Jones Fellowship was
endowed in his name at Lions Clubs International Foundation.
The Melvin Jones Fellowship is named after the founder of Lions
Clubs, and is the highest honor bestowed by a Lions Club.
In recent years, he served as Secretary or Assistant
Secretary of the Club, and he normally contributed one of the
few on-key voices when the Club attempted to sing a song
during a meeting.
